snowman faces in a frame (very easy)

I thought I would share this little snowman picture that is very easy to make. First I found a long rectangular frame at GW. I painted it black and sanded it. Then, I cut out homespun to fit the cardboard backing of the frame. I "tacky" glued it to the cardboard. Next, I used a plastic drinking cup to get my circle pattern. I cut out 3 circles in osnaburg muslin and 3 in warm and natural. I "tacky" glued the warm and natural first, then I glued the osnaburg on top of that. I cut out funny shaped noses from orange homespun. I glued those on too. Finally, I painted dots for the eyes and mouths. I think it turned out cute. I am thinking of taking them off and "grungying" up with coffee mix though. Enjoy!! If you have small frames, just make one face.

  1. Cute!...Don't you love them "instant gratification" projects!

  2. I love it, I may try it, quick and easy is my style!

  3. This is so cute. Sounds simple enough that I think I could even do it. Thanks for sharing.
