snowman faces in a frame (very easy)

Hello,
I thought I would share this little snowman picture that is very easy to make. First I found a long rectangular frame at GW. I painted it black and sanded it. Then, I cut out homespun to fit the cardboard backing of the frame. I "tacky" glued it to the cardboard. Next, I used a plastic drinking cup to get my circle pattern. I cut out 3 circles in osnaburg muslin and 3 in warm and natural. I "tacky" glued the warm and natural first, then I glued the osnaburg on top of that. I cut out funny shaped noses from orange homespun. I glued those on too. Finally, I painted dots for the eyes and mouths. I think it turned out cute. I am thinking of taking them off and "grungying" up with coffee mix though. Enjoy!! If you have small frames, just make one face.

wooden plate redo

Hi guys,
I am soooo excited for the holiday season!! I have been going crazy making things thanks to your tutorials, free patterns and GW stuff. It is so hard to find the time when you work full time, have two children, a hubby a dog and love to run. Well anyway, for the next few posts you will see a lot of my makeovers and end products from patterns and tutorials that you put out there. Thanks.
This is a plate that I picked up for $0.99 at GW. I repainted it and stenciled Glory to God in the Highest. I like how it turned out.
