My hubby and I have seriously been talking about moving to the state of Montana from Pittsburgh PA (quite a move I know). My older son has Seasonal Affective Disorder. Here in PA we only get about 55 days of sunshine a year, so he is incredibly moody (like PMS for boys though). So my question is: Can anyone give me any helpful info about Montana? How is the weather? What is a good part of the state to move?
I am a teacher so finding a job will probably be hard, but he needs a change badly. I have been to Montana twice back in the early 90s. I loved it and would welcome the move. Please help!
Thanks, Kim
Wow Kim, you really are considering the "move"!...we'd miss ya...but, that would just us a reason to come to Montana and visit!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about Montana, but I do know we don't get as much sunshine as other areas. My husband's brother and wife moved to Texas a few years ago and they noticed right away how clear and blue the skies always are down there. Once we visited in the fall, coming home to overcast skies day in and day out made me wish for Texas.
ReplyDeleteMontana is a major move but sunshine is worth it!

ReplyDeleteHi there! I'm from Canada but we live very close to Montana and go there a LOT! We have friends in Kalispell too. It is a GORGEOUS state, lots to see and do, Big Sky Country. They have 4 seasons like us, lots to see and do...we love it!
